One of my goals after I'm done with school is to write a book. I'd like to do that before I'm thirty, I think. In order to prepare for this, I'm currently taking a creative writing class and I intend to continue this pathway during my time at DSA. In the past I have never considered anything I completed for school to be a very personal achievement and instead being part of my "job" as a student. I write a lot in my free time and I'm going to try and finish a few stories. I write a lot of fan fiction because I love characters and settings from video games and TV shows, but by the school year's end I want to finish a story that is completely original. If I don't finish I at least want to have made some decent progress. I am currently collaborating on several stories with various friends of mine and hope we finish some of these by the time I graduate high school. I'm being sure I give myself a lot of time to complete my writings because I take forever to finish stories and I've never finished one I was entirely satisfied with, usually since school deadlines keep me from expanding on plot lines and characters as much as I'd like. As far as publishing goes, I honestly don't know what I want to do. I write for my own enjoyment, and sometimes that of my friends, and putting my work out there has never been a definite yes or no for me.

AuthorI'm moving on to my 4th (and final) year as a Game Art & Design student at Durham School of the Arts. I'd like to call myself an artist, but I'm a programmer at heart. Archives
